They can reach out to candidates right away or it could take weeks for them to reach out. It depends on the size of the organization & where they might be at in the recruiting cycle. For instance, larger organizations typically have longer recruiting cycles. If they just posted a job, it may be weeks until they have a short-list of candidates they want to start reaching out to.
As the partner reserves the right to reach out to candidates they believe to be a good fit for the role, it’s also important to note that not every student will be reached out to.
If you’ve applied to a role through Udacity but haven’t heard back, it doesn’t hurt to apply to roles at the company through their website. Every role is different and frequently has different hiring teams, so if you feel you’re well qualified for other roles at the company, but we’re not promoting it, we still encourage you to apply directly and drive that process for yourself.
