The Digital Career Transformation: Columbus program offers the most cutting edge content in technology, aimed to give Ohioans practical skills to kick start their journey to be ready for the jobs of the future. The top 500 students will be selected to join one of the three learning paths available in this program. What does this program entail? This program consists of a 3-month self-learning and guided learning journey with Udacity. Students have the opportunity to enroll in one of three Nanodegree programs: Business Analytics, Digital Marketing, or UX Designer. How can I benefit from this program? Benefits of the Digital Career Transformation: Columbus- Students will have the opportunity to meet hiring employers and managers around Ohio.- Work on real-world projects designed by industry experts to build their portfolio of skills.- Learn from the most up-to-date content, co-created with top industry experts. How many spots will be available? There are 500 scholarships available within the first cohort! What are the eligibility criteria to enroll? Applicants for the Digital Career Transformation must meet the below criteria:- US citizen- 18 years of age or older- Resident of Franklin County and surrounding area Are there any fees for enrollment? No, this is a free scholarship opportunity. What are the prerequisites for enrollment? Applicants must have a general knowledge of how to use and operate a computer and navigate the internet. No prior experience or technical knowledge is required. Programming knowledge is a plus. What is the duration of this program? This program is a 3-month learning journey Is this program online, in-person, or a combination of both? The program takes place 100% online. You can work from wherever you want to, as long as you have a working internet connection. How can I apply to the program? And when will the application open/close? If interested, students can apply to the learning path that they are interested in through the program website here. When will the applications open/close? Applications are open from Thursday, November 19th, 2020 until Tuesday, January 5th, 2021. How will I know if I am accepted? Should you be shortlisted, a member of the Scholarship Team from the Workforce Development Board of Central Ohio will contact you to verify the information provided in the application. Upon confirmation, you should be notified of your acceptance to the program from Udacity. Can I cancel an application I submitted? A fully submitted application cannot be deleted. Please ensure you are submitting accurate and correct information, and that you are committed to the program timelines before submitting your application. Can I change the email address that I have used to sign-up? You should maintain the email address you applied and got accept and enrolled with in the program for the duration of your track in order to maintain eligibility. Will you provide any kind of career support? During the learning journey, students will get career support through LinkedIn and Resume reviews from Udacity experts!
