We are changing our career services. Career events will be discontinued on February 28, 2021. Recordings of past career events will remain viewable on our YouTube channel. 1:1 career coaching and the careers community channel in Student Hub will be discontinued on March 25, 2021. The Career Resources Portal, as well as any Career projects that are part of your Nanodegree program, will remain as career resources. You will still have access to The study lounge and Nanodegree project community channels so you can continue connecting with other Udacity learners in Student Hub.
If you currently have any 1:1 career coaching appointments, they must be attended before March 25, 2021.
FAQs
Why the change?
Udacity’s top priority is to ensure that students around the world have the support that they need to be successful - in their coursework and in their broader careers and lives. We are constantly working to improve the student experience by using feedback and data to determine which factors have the greatest impact on student success.
Across the board, our alumni have mentioned that career projects (LinkedIn Review, GitHub Review, Resume Review) helped them feel the most prepared for job search or seek a promotion. Furthermore, our alumni feel that job search techniques vary by country, industry and job role but LinkedIn profiles, Github profiles and Resumes still remain the most frequently used tools for hiring, which makes career projects the most relevant career service.
