FAQs for Intel® Edge AI for IoT Developers Nanodegree Why is the AI Edge ND not currently accepting new enrollments? At Udacity it’s important to us to present the most current technology possible. We have made the decision to stop enrollments for the Intel® Edge AI for IoT Developers Nanodegree Program as Intel is performing an update on July 22 that will significantly impact the second course in the program. We want to ensure we are providing the best educational experience possible and are assessing how to manage this update If I’m currently enrolled should I continue going through the sections of the course you’re saying need to be updated? Currently enrolled students who have completed through the Course “Choosing the Right Hardware” will be able to continue their progress uninterrupted and with regular mentor and support services. You are not impacted by the pause in new enrollments or the upcoming Intel update. Students who have not completed the course through “Choosing the Right Hardware” will be moved to a new version that does not contain that course on July 21. You removed a course, will I still be able to graduate? Students will still be able to graduate from the program after completing all project requirements in Course 1 “Edge AI Fundamentals with OpenVINO™” and Course 3 “Optimization Techniques and Tools.” What changes to the program are you making? Currently enrolled students who have not completed through the second course, “Choosing the Right Hardware”, will be moved to a new version that does not contain that course on July 21. If I already graduated from the program, is my certificate still valid? Certificates for students who completed all projects and graduated from the course in the past are still valid.
